Tuesday August 07th 2012, 7:23 pmHmmm… What do you do when something you’ve worked on for the past three and half days doesn’t turn out as you’d hoped it would? Curse it! Then look for the positive, learn from it. Find in it what you can like, a new way of perceiving the concept. So your mind can ease up and come back to the root of what excited you about the idea in the first place. The only other option is to burn it and start over, and I never do that. I’ve maybe restarted pieces three times in my whole career. I’ve no time for that mindset. So I just do my best to accept what is in front of me and move on.

Hey there Drew
Thanks for the highly supportive phrasing there. But you are much too kind, there definitely are some things that could use improving, but thats the nature of doing what we do. If that wasn’t the case there wouldn’t be anything left learn, and thats boring :^)

C’mon, you’ve never done anything sucky, and you know it. 😉
“You gotta harness in the good energy, block out the bad. Harness. Energy. Block. Bad. Feel the flow, Jim. Feel it. It’s circular. It’s like a carousel. You pay the quarter, you get on the horse. It goes up and down and around. Circular. Circle. With the music. The flow… All good things.”
