Nice selections … but it leads me to ask the question …
What? No Blondie?!?
Comment by Pam 10.20.13 @ 3:06 pmHey Pam
I put up the wrong list. Now updated with correct info, and you’ll see Blondie listed there now ;^)
Great selection!
I see Chelsea Wolfe. Do you know Russian Circles? It´s one of my favourite instrumental bands with the ex-botch Brian Cook playing the bass. Russian Circles have a new album, Memorial, and the last song is with Chelsea Wolfe, they did together the european tour.
A big hug!
You know, I have listened to so much more Blondie since meeting you in NYC a few years ago, and seeing this list is cool. I am surprised at your later era RUSH fixation, saw them 50-75 times but still resist post power Windows stuff, although since Alex is back in the mix more with no synths I like that stuff too.
BTW, I am the Sean on your mythical commission list (Dr Strange, eyeballs with gaping maws. Remember?), so if you have some time and want to do some work with a magical focus…
😉
just hoping. Glad to see you coming to NJ next April (according to the Asbury Park convention list), see you there!
-Sean (haven’t read my Sandman yet but your comment makes me want to see issue 3 now!)
Comment by sean wasielewski 11.06.13 @ 3:57 pmI saw Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds on Oct 31 and he continues to be the best live performer!! Just mindblowing!!!! 😮

Comment by Alex 11.14.13 @ 9:23 pmHey Pedro
I’ve not heard them, but will check them out. Thanks for the recommendation. Hugs back ;^)
Hey there sean wasielewski
I can’t help but love rush in all their various directions. You should pick up Clockwork Angels. See you in NJ.
You’re welcome
I can’t make up my mind if Warren Ellis is sane, insane or a mixture of both!
Whatever he is, he entertains me to no end!
Hey Alex
You should pick up the soundtrack work they’ve done, so good.
Love the ELO, saw David Bowie early on, thought you might start dropping some classic Ziggy Stardust later, but didn’t!
Comment by Alex 11.26.13 @ 5:47 pmHey there Alex
There is a good chance classic Bowie will show up along the way.
I see that we have very similar tastes in music, which I think is really interesting. Chlesea Wolfe is great and her new album is amazing. Love in Rockets (back in the 90’s) was literally the best concert I have ever seen and I have seen hundreds of concerts in my lifetime. Plus, what’s not to love about Nick Cave? Cool to see The Twilight Garden and Fitz and the Tantrums there as well. Great list.
