Appearances…
Saturday January 16th 2010, 1:26 pmAnother new convention appearance for later in the year has been added into the schedule section, this one will be in Spain.
Here is the cover to Detective Comics I did for issue 861 by Greg and Jock in stages…
The rough concept for the covers of the next 3 issues were presented to me by the editor, a simple design idea encompassing all of the issues for this arc, tying them together thematically, as you will you as they are released. Here is the first one in black and white with tones…
Digital color by me…
Logo treatment by me…

Hey there JustMike
I think you need to take a closer look at that itinerary in the schedule section on this site, you’ll see that I actually will be in New York in just over a month.
🙂
OH man! WOW I just saw that! Are you going to be signing stuff?
Comment by JustMike 01.17.10 @ 1:37 pmWow, Spain!! Safe travels to all the cons. What a trip.
Are you taking commission requests at the cons? I know some artists do, and some do not. Just wondering.
Hope to make one of the con appearances.

Comment by Pam 01.17.10 @ 3:44 pmthat is the link to the NY show in late february. it is kind of hard to find the link so I thought I would provide it, and the “add to mailing list” doesn’t work, but there it is.
I am very excited about this appearance. I may have a daughter or two in tow as well!

Thats what I’ll be there for. We’ll see ya there.
Hey there Pam
Yeah I’ll be doing some drawing, how much will depend on the crowds wanting books signed. It’ll be great to meet you if you can make it to one.
Hey there Sean
Thanks for setting up that link. I didn’t even think to do that. I’ll have to add that sort of feature to my schedule section when I get the chance.

Great work as usual. I really hope at some point you get to a new york/new jersey con. In the mean time, I just graduated grad school and am putting together a home office and I think I’m going to get one of your originals to be a part of it. Your work means a lot to me, and I really hope you keep up the great work.
