The Cover looks really awesome! I was wondering at what dpi do you scan your traditional drawings. is it 300dpi or 600dpi?

The company standard specs are 600dpi ay 67% of original size. And I’m glad you like it.

Man, this is truly beautiful. Thanks for the breakdown of how you approach the cover, all the way to the end product, it is really cool. It was free comic book day today and my local comic shop has 50% off all back stock. I picked up all the Desolation Jones issues, they look great. Thanks for bringing the comic medium to another level.

I’m glad you enjoy these little process things. I wish I had more time to post an entire page of Batwoman from the very beginning, showing every detailed step. Taking it from the very first panel in to the end. It would be a lot to post but could be interesting if I ever find the time to scan every little step in that process.

No. Thank you! I wish you luck in getting a copy. DC seems to be making those difficult to get a hold of. I think all of my variants are 1 in 25 except for the Tom Strong being 1 in 10.

1. Are the breakdowns above merely digital copies or are these proofs available to buy? I love the B/W and the color logo-less versions of your BB cover.

2. Will you be in San Diego or wherever they’re holding CCI this summer?

The color versions are digital colors, which is standard. The black and white is the actual original art that was scanned for the color to be applied to. And yes I suppose I will be selling the original at some point.

As for the San Diego show, unfortunately my schedule is going to be so tight that I won’t be there, unless I HAVE to be for some reason.
