Major congrats! Beyond deserved for some of the best comic artwork I’ve ever experienced.

I’m so stoked for you! I can’t think of anyone who deserved it more. I wish I could take your Detective Comics work and just frame it all over my walls, it’s incredible.

You have single-handedly reaffirmed my belief that comic art is a legitimate artistic endeavor. Your visual presentation, design and vision are beyond anything that has come before. This is a well-deserved honor, and I know that I will continue to see you press the envelope and lead others to “step up” their art to match the high bar that you have raised. Congratulations sir.

I was about to read the Deluxe Elegy, so it’s a bit of synchronicity.
I’m glad to see Eisner awarded to an artist that strives to push the boundaries of the medium, all for the sake of storytelling and art.

Hey there all of you
Sorry to do a mass reply but it has been pretty overwhelming around here this weekend. Wendy and I didn’t attend SDCC this year, with all of the work that needs doing, there just wasn’t time. So instead we had a party here with friends and family the night of the ceremony, so when the word came celebrations ensued. Thank you all for your sentiments, its very much appreciated.
