hey there marc
yes indeed. blueberry is one of those westerns that has it just right. so does bouncer. i sorta gage all western comics by that standard and i try reaching for that feel when drawing this kind of material. moebius and bess are masters of the western genre and you can’t get better than that. so their influence is going to be inevitable for me.
Exquisite work as usual, Mr. Williams. If it’s safe to say, where are we off to next?

thanks so much!! it’s still not safe to fully talk about what is next because the publisher has changed the launch date yet again. you can probably guess what it is going to be based on other tidbits in other posts and conversations around the net. nothing until next year in the spring. i know that is a very long wait and it’s gonna drive me nuts. but hopefully it will all be worth it.
Wonderful stuff! I agree there is a real Blueberry feel but also your trademark panel designs truely inspirational! The first stuff I saw of yours was on the DC Judge Dredd title it’s a shame you never got to do the ‘proper’ Dredd as it were over in 2000ad

thank you. and yeah dredd for 2000ad would be a blast to do. i’m a big fan of the 2000ad stuff in general, but particularly dredd.

Do I see a bit of an homage to Lt. Blueberry here? I felt it in 7 Soldiers #0 too.
