New Website Project

Friday December 30th 2011, 10:26 pm

Note that in the above tab menu for this site, there is a new one titled 2306152. This new page on the site will feature a new daily blog writing experiment. Consisting of a single paragraph posted everyday, beginning January 1st 2012 and ending on December 31st. The page itself states that it will be be an experimental fiction blog, basically for lack of anything better to describe it. But its more like an abstract-docu-blog I guess. The goal is to note things in my daily life and examine them with whatever comes to mind. I’ve no idea where this thing will lead, but It might turn out to be something worth reading daily, or not. And hopefully a snippet of enjoyment for those who choose to follow along.

Hey there Alex
Hopefully it’ll end up pretty cool by the end of it a year from now. As for the illustration? That is going to be the only one, at least for now, a title graphic, most of that is digital work anyway so it doesn’t have anything physical to sell. If the project turns out well or interesting enough, I may publish it as a book, and then maybe at that point add illustrations or some other form of visual as an added component to the book. But for now the goal is to abstractly think about different things each day and get that into words rather than pictures, an abstract narrative being built slowly over time. Sort of illustrating with words with this docu-blog. To get my brain to think differently for moment a little bit each day. A creative writing exercise. I’m not overly concerned of it having any real clear narrative other than documenting thoughts on one thing or idea each day consecutively. Trying to pay very close attention to one ordinary thing in my life everyday, by examination, then paint that reality with words, to discover the extraordinary within the ordinary, an affirmation of the world around me. Kind of a lengthy explanation of what the goal is guess, sorry.
