Hey J3,
I just love your taste in music.
Killing Joke Absolute Dissent – was a stand out release for me. Nice mash up of heavy guitars and contemporary beats. I’m looking forward to their 2012 release.
Have yet to get my hands on the J&MC remastered albums – are they worth it?

Hello Damian
Yeah, the Killing Joke album was stunning. Basically showing everyone how it’s done! 😉 Unfortunately I missed them coming through SF last year. I’m sure the new album is going to be amazing.

The Jesus And Mary Chain triple disc sets are very much worth every cent, especially if you’re already a fan of theirs. And if you’re not already, go discover their glory. These expanded editions are loaded with extras, so the music is on two discs, and the third disc is dvd material. This is the set up for each of the albums. I hadn’t listened to J&MC for awhile, but these new editions were a must and reminded just how incredible this band was/is. I’m hoping that new material is on the since they now have a website being built.

Love J&MC but I only went and got the Psychocandy Expanded edition. was taken back by what Jim Reid said on the DVD about Joy Division. Sure it was just for publicity though. So funny seeing a young Bobby gillespie 😀

Got Flo + the Machine next month! Plus Peter Hook & the Light are touring performing Unknown Pleasures!!!

Finally go my Chase Tpb. Thanks!

Hey there Alex
Yeah, the Reid brothers can have a bit of cockiness to things they say sometimes.

Do you think they meant it though, JH, or was it just getting some publicity?

You never know. Thats the thing with bands that have a pretentiousness to them, its hard to discern truth from bluster.
